#Tricaster Advanced Edition 3

Our little workhorse has had a massive and important upgrade. Our #Tricaster mini that we drag all around the world has been upgraded to the latest "Advanced Edition" software by #Newtek. This means we can finally stream in 1080p, stream to multiple sites at the same time (YouTube Live, Facebook Live etc) but more importantly use the power of #NDI.

For those who may not be familiar with #NDI - this essentially means we can use video-compatible products to communicate, deliver, and receive broadcast quality video in a high quality, low latency manner that is frame-accurate and suitable for switching in a live production environment.

We can have cameras around a venue connected to the local network and wherever our #Tricaster is located - it will see the camera video feed coming through the network so this removes running many meters of cables everywhere. Also we can connect to mobile phones and computers that are on the same network and bring their content into a live production.
